En Gibton is an Israeli company that develops, produces and markets products and solutions for contaminated water purification, based on a proprietary novel technology of micelle-clay complexes.
En Gibton's products and solutions are applicable for the purification of a wide range of contaminated water situations and a wide range of contaminants, among them organic compounds not treatable by state-of-the-art technologies.
The Company's products have proven superior effectiveness in extensive laboratory tests and in a pilot plant in a well located at Yashresh village, Israel. En Gibton products for purification of drinkable water has been approved for use by the Israeli Ministry of Health.
En Gibton is looking for partners for rapid commercialization of its products and technology, in particular producers of water filters, water management corporations, and engineering companies specializing in water systems.
Management Team
Ehud Ezroni, M.Sc., COB and co - founder
Ehud Ezroni is a experienced aircraft pilot, aeronautical engineer and inventor. Prior to his position at En Gibton he was co-founder of Dual, a consultancy company in system engineering, and Vitrotac that developed a track vehicle. Between 1973 and 1993 Ehud served in the Israeli Air Force retiring with rank of Colonel.
He hold a B.Sc. with distinction from the faculty of Aeronautical Engineering of the Technion, Technology Institute of Israel, and an MBA with distinction from the Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva.
Prof. Baruch Rubin - Co-founder
Prof. (emeritus) Baruch Rubin is and experienced specialist in agronomy and weed science. Prior to his retirement he served as Rachel and Jacob Liss Professor of Agronomy and Weed Science in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He Particpated in numerous academic activities in universities in the US, Brazil and Australia and served as the President of the Weed Science Society in Israel.
Prof. Rubin holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. cum laude and Ph.D. in Agriculture from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Prof. Shlomo Nir, CTO and co-founder
Prof. (emeritus) Shlomo NIr is an experienced expert and researcher in the fields of water purification, development of herbicide formulations for reduced leaching, clay - organic interactions, cation adsorption and binding. He is author to numerous scientific publications, three books and five patents. Prior to his retirement he was professor at the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University in Jeruslaem.
Prof. Nir holds B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
